📖 About:
Visual Workbench makes items put into a crafting table stay inside. Breaking the block drops everything on the ground, just like you'd expect. Oh, and crafting ingredients as well as the resulting item are also rendered on top. Really fancy if you ask me!

💡 FAQ:
Q: How do I configure this mod on Forge?
A: Install my Config Menus for Forge mod and do it directly in-game!
Q: How do I configure this mod on Fabric?
A: Editing configs directly in-game has not yet been implemented. Instead when in a world run the /config showfile <modid>
command by choosing either CLIENT
or SERVER
(depending on the mod), then click the file name (ending with .toml) that appears in chat to be able to manually edit the config file in a separate editor. After saving the file, the config will automatically reload in-game after a couple of seconds, so no game restart required.
Q: Where can I download this mod for Fabric on versions of Minecraft before 1.19?
A: Older downloads are found on the old project page.
Q: Does this work with crafting tables from other mods?
A: Yes, it does, but support has to be manually enabled per block. Many modded crafting tables are supported by default, those that are not can be added to a custom config file found at .minecraft/config/visual_workbench.json
(not accessible from in-game). If you add a crafting table yourself and it doesn't work it is likely incompatible with this mod.
Q: Now that items stay in the table, clearing the interface is so tedious. What can I do?
A: Try Crafting Tweaks, a mod by BlayTheNinth.
Q: Can you backport to 1.12?
A: No, but check out the original RealBench mod by Prototik.
