Spent my whole recess week on this, I have 6 Assignments due tmr, this is fine

Fixed in rare occasions, shake water / snow is not triggered
Passive Skill [Foxiality]
Changed Content
Fox near you will not shake head
Passive Skill [Unique Taste]
QOL Change:
The power now works with the item tag system, meaning that:
- The modded foods are no longer affected
- You can add in / remove foods from the tag file to your needs (Even include foods from installed food mods if you want)
Changed Contents:
- Buffed foods will no longer be always edible
- Added milk and honey into the food list that give you regen

Hidden Skill [Universal Setting]
Added a new setting: "Damage Muffler"
It's a new damage bonus system if you want a serious nerf of damage output.
Hidden Skill [Ticks]
Removed. Reverted to legacy coding standards.
For 1.21: Fixed Mace Nerf condition
Integrated into Origins.Alpha.9
Fox Player Model:
Added detection for Kitsune / Ninetails Pounce
This Version Can be used for expanded fox V3.0.0
A tiny Version dedicated for 1.21.x Because I randomly found a bug.
Fixed Bug: You can now correctly get 2 foodpoints with extra strike triggered in Pounce and Hunt Abilities. The Feed Interaction will also correctly give you 6 foodpoints.
Also I just tested, this thing can run in Quilt. Will likely to also run in NeoForge, but I never tested, because idk how to get Origins in NeoForge :3
But I'm sure datapack can definitely run as long as Origins can run
Updated to V4.0.0 for 1.21
Added a restriction on Mace cuz you can literally one-shot a full health warden with two pounces.
It is recommended to use this fox origin in [Origins-1.13.0-alpha.8+mc.1.21.x], this is the one I used to do forward porting.
Newer / older versions might break, considering how both Origins and Minecraft are carrying out a serious restructuring.
This version took me way to long to develop.
The main focus is to optimize performance as much as possible, without sacrificing current mechanics.
Might not have time to do the fox evolution or next version in a few months. (Unless of course, serious bugs occur)
Also for this version, Forge is almost as functional as Fabric. I resolved those major differences like "Unable to yoink fox / no Death sound played". Right now only minor differences exist.
The .jar file looks bigger now because I added my icon inside :3 which is about 420.680KB
General QOL Changes
- Refactored nearly all the code to be as performant as possible, sacrificing all the remaining readability. Tons of restructuring took place. Do expect stuffs work differently than before, or even different than what the wiki suggests
- Removed Fox-setting book.
- Implemented an all-in-one file containing all the default settings, that allow server owner to change easily for everyone. For detailed instructions, refers to the "For Server Admin" file in side .zip file.
Active Skill [Pounce]
Aesthetic Change:
Slightly adjusted screen overlay
Active Skill [Hunt]
QOL Changes:
Manually translated the keybind of the GUI tooltip. This will fix info on the Origin Gui in Forge.
Content Changes:
- Invisible can no longer hide your glowing effect (Nerf)
- You can no longer sense unliving entities (Nerf) (Somehow Armor stands are alive)
- You will instantly reset Prepare stage if you take any damage during it (Nerf)
- Your prepare stage will take longer if you move (Nerf)
- Hunt will be extended if you pounce at last second, until you land (Buff)
- Entering Hunt will immediately remove fear effect, due to the Timidity Power being reworked to be less janky (Unexpected Buff)
- Hunt can now work in modded dimensions? (Untested)
Aesthetic Changes:
- Slightly adjusted screen overlay
- Slightly adjusted invis timeframe, your cape will disappear almost the same frame as you
Active Skill [Foxify]
Fixed Bugs:
- Fixed fox pups foxify cannot invis / shake (TIL: AOT Setting Age will nullify the AOT power it has)
- Fixed Forge cannot yoink Fox like in Fabric
Content Changes:
- Redesigned the triggering of almost all the functions
- Shifted the Fox Force Sit and Fox Get Item power from Passive Skill [Foxiality] to here
- You can now actively enter [Sleepin Mode] while riding something
- You can now change your [Sleepin Mode] Fox to sit
- You can now instantly ride a player, removed the charge up
- You can now ride not only player, but also armor stand, bee, slime, axolotl. Basically any entity listed inside \data\thorigins\tags\entity_types\ridable.json. Add more into it if you want
- Adjusted your hitbox and eye height, now you likely won't block their view when riding players. But these two scales will be constantly resetted now.
- You can enter [Sleepin Mode] when riding stuffs, and you can stay being a fox even if the stuffs move.
- Implemented a cheap way of detecting your perspective. So that hat fox automatically stopped rendering itself when you are riding.
Passive Skill [Foxiality]
Content Changes:
- Shifted the two Fox interactions into Active Skill [Foxify]
- Polar Bear and Wolves do 2x damage to you (Nerf)
Passive Skill [Fluffy]
Content Changes:
- Removed evaporation mechanics (Add lots load while the effects are trivial in game)
- Received Fire Damage increases form x 1.5 to x1.75 (Nerf)
- Received Explosion Damage increases from x1 to x1.75 (Nerf)
Passive Skill [Timidity]
Content Changes:
Besides adaptations, dying 8 times ignores dimensions fear (Small Buff) (What's worse than dying anyways)
Aesthetic Change:
- Removed blood trail (Purely unnecessary aesthetic stuff that is actually really unaesthetic)
- Added instructions to conquer fears
Passive Skill [Unique Taste]
Content Changes:
Halved the saturation buff on berries (Nerf)
Hidden Skill [Fox Sound Pack]
Fixed Bug:
Allow the fox.death sound to play properly in Forge end. At the cost of adding a teeny tiny bit of delay.
Content Changes:
Removed sound switches, really useless tbh and extremely janky
Hidden Skill [ThTrackers]
Content Changes:
Removed No-CD Cheat
New Hidden Skill [Universal Settings]
For Server Admins to do a universal setting change. Located at data\thorigins\powers\fox\universal_settings.json
Refer to the file [For Server Admin] for instructions
Fox Player Model
- Kept up with V4.0.0
- Speed up tail wagging when walking / running
- Added Forge Support
Also I made the 1.21+ Version, note that the Origin Mod for Minecraft 1.21+ is still in Alpha, things will unexpectedly go weird.
But the one I use to make is [Origins-1.13.0-alpha.8+mc.1.21.x].
It is recommended to use this fox origin in this specific version, as newer / older version might break completely, considering how both Origins and Minecraft are carrying out a serious restructuring.
DO NOT USE THE EXPANDED FOX ORIGINS V2.1 WITH THIS VERSION
Even though I havn't tested it, but this restructured new version will highly likely to NOT work with the expanded fox.
A Bug Fixing Version with some changes
Active Skill [Foxify]:
Fixed Bug:
You can no longer dupe the Fox summoned in [Sleepin Mode]. (Found by @leerj on Origins Discord)
Changed Content:
- The 3 times Tutorial is removed, moved to the tooltip in the Origin Menu with more details
- If you are in Foxtype 2 or 3 (Red / Snow Fox Pup), the Pup will now not grow up after a moderately long time (tbf I never expect anyone to fox for so long :3)
Passive Skill [Timidity]:
Fixed Bug:
You can now tame wolves in 1.18.2 and Forge
Changed Content:
- Due to the above Bug, removed the Taming Wolves Auto UnFear Mechanic, instead, you now need to:
- [Right Click] a TAMED wolf with empty hand to trust it, you will no longer fear this wolf. Instructions added into the tooltip beside the skill in the Origin Menu
- You still lose trust if you are hit by the wolf
Passive Skill [Agility]:
QOL Change:
You will now not hear the annoying player.small_fall and player.big_fall if you fall from a safe height, most of the times
Achieved via a method raised by @Aeshley on Origins Discord, modified to make you still take fall damage
Since the whole fall_distance condition is messed up by this feature, something might perform unexpectedly
But definitely worth it >:3
Hidden Skill [Fox Sound Pack]
Changed Content:
- If you are Foxtype 2 or 3 (Red / Snow Fox Pup), your interaction sounds, fox sounds will have a higher pitch.
- If you are Foxtype 6, you basically in [Figura Mode] but with Fox Pup sounds like the above
- Removed Aggro Interaction
Finally the fall sound is gone yipeee
Emergency bug fixing patch
got a lil silly :3
New Function
/function thorigins:figura_off
This function will reset your size to the default setting of this origin, and set your <Foxtype> to 0
Active Skill [Foxify]
Fixed Bug:
You will now correctly go in invisible in [Sleepin Mode] if your <Foxtype> is between 0 and 3 (Found by @leerj on Origins Discord)
Hidden Skill [Fox Sound Pack]
Changed Content:
When [Sleepin Mode] is disabled or in Figura mode, the interval of fox.sleep sound played every 3 seconds is increased to every 9 seconds (I timed a sleeping fox in game, roughly about 9s)
aww man
A Small Update made to fix bugs and integrate the Figura mod.
I had to do this cuz Figura mod allows you to be a real fox, not limited to [Sleepin Mode]
Hidden Skill [Fox Sound Pack]
Fixed Bug:
The fox.sleep sound will not play repeatly if you trigger set foxtype to -1 (Turn off [Sleepin Mode])
Changed Content:
Foxtype >=5 when entering [Sleepin Mode] will have the following effects:
- Does not trigger invisibility
- Does not Summon fox
- Does not trigger tutorial
- Play the fox.sleep sound every 3s Figura avatars can be functional in this foxtype range
Passive Skill [Fluffy]
Fixed Bug:
Sneak mute wolf.shake sound can now correctly clear your wetness and snowness
Next is how the Figura mod is integrated:
- I've included a fox avatar that can be used by Figura mod in the source release or the download page (Fox Player Model.zip)\
This Model is not for Forge Figura. Because it can't read the Forge Origins' data.\
To install it, put it inside the /figura/avatar/ directory
This Fox Avatar is scripted to have unique Pounce / Sleep / Sit etc. animations, syncing with the Origins mod through player NBT.
- A new function
/function thorigins:figura_on
This function will automatically set your foxtype to 5
and use Pehkui to set your eye height and hitbox height to the fox model's optimal settings
Be noted that you need admin to use this
or ask an admin to do
/execute as [Your name] run function thorigins:figura_on
- If you have BlockBench installed, feel free to modify the Fox Player Model to your desired color / size / outfits etc.
Or if you know Figura scripting, you can change the script to add in your own animation.
The script is somewhat well-commented ig.
idk i just started Figura scripting and animations like 2 days ago
Have fun as a real fox
That's it, I've done it guys
This version can be directly dragged into the mods/ folder of Forge loader
Did not change anything else, like those existing unfixable glitch appeared when using Forge Version of Origin
Note: if you are using forge, the dependency of Origins will be the Forge Version of Origins
Turns out I had to download the Forge Development Kit and setting up the whole thing
Then build using gradle after changing some settings inside yadeyade
And yeah, despite having a compiled java file inside, it does not contain anything other than the constructor, so that Forge loader won't get mad at me
Not sure about NeoForge and Quilt tho, never tested. As long as they share the same registering system with the Forge and Fabric then should be good
Months of Java course at university allows me to achieve this lmao
