Details
A utility mod for modpack developers who wants to keep their users safe and warn people about the usage of Essential and their Privacy Policy.
Here is how it looks like!
But you might ask, why would you care about their privacy policy if already everyone taking our data nowadays?
Maybe because a random Minecraft mod doesn't have to know where you live and stuff.
Here is their privacy policy (Updated as of 1.08.2025):
- Your Account (as defined in the Privacy Policy) information, email address, and Minecraft UUID (as defined in the Privacy Policy);
- Usage times and dates, time zone, language, screen resolution, and device settings;
- Items you purchased, configurations made to these items, Minecraft version, Mod (as defined in the Privacy Policy) loader version, and concurrent Mods;
- Your browser type, operating system, IP address, referring/exit pages, unique device identifiers, and push notification token;
- Activity linked to your email or your Minecraft UUID;
- Metadata from your user content (Account name, Minecraft UUID);
- Supplementary information pertaining to you that we receive from third parties; and
- Information provided by you during customer support interactions.
- Geolocation information, such as the country, State, or territory where you are located when you access the Service (which information will be subsequently anonymized by Essential).
