- WARNING: Existing Crab Traps will need to be broken and replaced or may crash when trying to be opened
- Requirement for open water around the trap is reduced from 5x5 down to just 3x3
- This requirement now needs to be met for the crab trap to be able to function
- Can be toggled on/off in the config
- Traps that are in a water biome will now work at double the pace to catch items
- This is controlled by the biome being part of the forge:is_water tag
- Bait is no longer required for a crab trap to function
- When no bait is present, the crab trap has a very slight chance of collecting sealife but will mostly capture junk (75% items 25% mixed sealife)
- This uses the “air” loot-table for simplification purposes
- Fish used as bait will have equal chance to capture items, or specific sealife (50% items, 50% specific sealife)
- Chum will have a 100% chance at catching specific sealife still
- When no bait is present, the crab trap has a very slight chance of collecting sealife but will mostly capture junk (75% items 25% mixed sealife)

- Fixes:
- Fishing loot tables should no longer be over-written, and should only be adding new items

Crabber's Delight 1.1.3
- Additions:
- Crabs (entities)
- Crabs spawn in Mangrove Swamps as they did from the Minecraft Live 2023 mob vote. They naturally spawn as the blue variant
- Crabs can be led and bred using Cod or Salmon. More breeding items can be used by adding them to the “crab_tempt_items” tab
- Crabs can be picked up in a water bucket, similar to other fish, axolotls, and frogs
- Different crab colors can be obtained by using dye on them
- Breeding crabs of different colors will yield babies of the combined color, assuming the two colors combine normally (ex. Blue + Red = Purple)
- Fish Barrels
- Currently have all the vanilla fish, crafted with 9 of each
- Chum Buckets
- Each type of seafood can be caught by using a chum bucket as bait in the Crab Trap
- Chum buckets are crafted with a fish, two bonemeal, and a bucket
- Chum buckets only stack to 1, and once they are depleted in the Crab Trap will return the bucket
- Two matching chum buckets with partial durability can be combined together to “refill” one of the buckets, but this will destroy one of the buckets (this is partially a Minecraft limitation that I haven’t figured out how to fix, just know that it is possible)
- Implemented the (now incomplete) Japanese translation - thanks PExPE3!
- Crabs (entities)
- Changes:
- Crabs, cooked crab, crab barrels, and crab legs have all been retextured to match the texture of the default blue crabs
- Crab Traps
- Putting fish in the Crab Trap no longer solely yields seafood. This functionality is replaced by Chum Buckets (see information above)
- Putting fish into the trap now collects the “junk” loot table, or the “treasure” loot table if the conditions are met of having a 5x5 area around the trap be clear of other blocks (traps do not impact this, nor do water logged blocks)
- Crab traps no longer passively collect items with no bait in them
- Putting fish in the Crab Trap no longer solely yields seafood. This functionality is replaced by Chum Buckets (see information above)

- Fixed bowls not being returned to the player when foods are eaten
- Fixed z-fighting on the Crab Trap model
