About
Chowl Industries is proud to present our newest creation, Drawers! Are chests just not big enough? Do you hate sifting through them to find what you need?
Download Chowl Industries today and give your storage system the glorious modular makeover it deserves!
Features
Chowl Industries adds drawers, similar to those you may be used to from other mods, but with some big differences.
To get started with the mod, craft a Chowl Handbook from a drawer frame and a book.
Drawer Frames
Drawers are modular in order to fit specific needs.
They are assembled by placing a drawer frame in the world, and then adding different types of panels to any of the six sides.
Drawer Panels
There are five different types of panels all serving different purposes ranging from being an interaction point for the player, to an interface for working with other mods, to a compression panel - perfect for storing compressable materials such as iron or coal.
To apply a panel to a drawer frame, simply right click on the side that you want to apply it to.
Drawer Upgrades
At some point you may run into a situation where you need to place a drawer in a dark area, or want to keep a drawer safe from creeper explosions.
Thankfully, Chowl Industries has you covered. Drawer upgrades let you add properties to your drawers with certain items. (Consult the Chowl Handbook for a full list of upgrades).
If you can't make out your drawer's text in the dark, add glow squid ink for glowing text.
If you're worried about explosion damage to your drawers, add obsidian or any other blast-proof block.
More Drawer Space
You will find yourself at the point where you've run out of space in a panel. Thankfully, there's an easy solution! Craft two, four or eight panels together - as long as they all have the same total capacity and the same panel type, you will receive their combined total capacity in a single panel.
This method of panel capacity increasing can go on indefinitely, giving you a theoretically infinite amount of space inside a drawer for all of your cobblestone needs.
