Vanilla Parity is a data pack that aims to resolve some parity issues between Minecraft Bedrock and Java, where some features only exist in one version and not the other. This data pack achieves this by bringing over Bedrock-exclusive features over to Java Edition.
Notable Features
- Advancements from Bedrock and Legacy versions.
- Beds and wool can be re-dyed by crafting.
- Cobwebs can be crafted into 9 string.
- Campfires and candles can be ignited by walking on them while on fire.
- Curing time for zombie villagers are now shorter and at a fixed time duration.
- Armor stands have arms when placed.
- Fallen trees and coral clusters.
- Respawn anchors keep their charge when mined with Silk Touch.
- Shulker drops are affected by Looting, dropping up to 4 shells.
- Tridents with Loyalty return to the player when thrown in the void.
The full list of features can be found in the wiki.
Revoked Version
This data pack also has an alternative "Revoked Version" that doesn't add in the advancement from the original, for those who want to use this along other data packs in their world. Link can be found here.
*This data pack is made at which extraction is not required. It also contains world generation features that may not be compatible with other data packs that have such features.
