Trims Expanded v1.4 Changelog
"Kept you waiting, huh?"
I just wanna say first of all: Thank you all for 145k downloads! I never would have anticipated that the datapack would get this far!!
-
Four new Trim Materials!
- Armadillo Scute
- Breeze Rod
- Poisonous Potato (Acts as Amber Gem material as seen in snapshot 24w14potato!)
will probably be removed once the Winter Drop releases - Popped Chorus Fruit
-
Four new Smithing Templates!
- Margin
- Verdant
- Heart
- ???
-
Elytras can now have trims applied to them in 1.21.2+ versions of the game!
-
Now works on multiple game versions! The pack will function on all 1.20.x and 1.21.x versions!
-
The base items for each template item have been changed to pottery sherds!
- This was done in order to leave more room for potential templates (as well as these new ones) without having the risk of a player accidentally placing a template with no way of getting it back. This also means 1.19.4 is now unsupported.
-
All template items now use a unique custom_model_data number (As opposed to just being 1).
-
Added a new command to give you each custom smithing template, simply use
/function trimsexpanded:give_custom_templates
! -
Updated Plated Pattern texture to be more consistent with the back.
-
Updated Danger Smithing Template item texture to be in line with the Wild Smithing Template, as they use the same block to duplicate.
-
Overhauled the texture on one of the crafted patterns to more prominantly use the base palette, no longer requiring more than 8 colours.
-
Trim palette base textures have been reverted back to their vanilla format, now having 8 colours again.
-
Minor colour tweaks to a few material palettes.
-
Smithing Template texts now use translatable text for their descriptions. (Also applies to names in 1.12.2+ versions)
-
Rarities updated to match 1.12.2 changes. (This only applies on that version and any that come after)
-
Updated compatibility with Trimmable Tools:
- Requires mod version as the datapack version is discontinued.
- Palettes are functional, but patterns currently do not apply correctly.
-
Added compatibility with the following mods/datapacks:
- Elytra Trims (KikuGie) (On versions before 1.12.2)
- TaTe's Extra Trims (AverageTaTeMan)
- More Armor Trims (masik16u)
- Alex's Caves (AlexModGuy, Noonyeyz)
