Moar Crossbows
The Moar Crossbows datapack adds a bunch of new crossbow types to the game. The goal was to try and make unique crossbows that are more than just statistical upgrades while also attempting to still fit in with the art style and general game design of Minecraft. It adds all of the bows from Moar Bows as well as a handful of new ones! They can be quite useful, powerful, strange, silly, or all of the above. You can craft them in the Vanilla Crafting Table. All recipes can all be found HERE, or in-game in the Recipe Guide
The datapack REQUIRES this Library, as well as this Resource Pack.

Free Totems
- Burst Crossbow: Shoots 4 extra arrows one after another when shot. Doesn’t work well with enchantments… but still can be enchanted.
- Dragon’s Breath Crossbow: Causes an explosion of dragon’s breath where it hits. The arrow deals low damage, and the dragon’s breath is fairly nerfed. Cannot be bottled.
- Egg Crossbow: Drops eggs from the sky as it travels. It was the man in the chicken suits idea, not mine!
- Laser Crossbow: Shoots an instant laser where you are aiming. Deals fairly low damage and sets blocks on fire that you hit.
- Quickload Crossbow: Can be reloaded instantly. Cannot be enchanted or repaired to avoid being OP.
- Zooming Crossbow: Makes your camera zoom in a bit… but also makes it so you can’t move.
Patron Exclusive Totems ($1+)
- TNT Crossbow: Causes a small explosion where the arrow lands or on entities that are hit.
- Slime Crossbow: Launches hit mobs into the air. Does little base damage, but can cause a fair amount of fall damage.
- Honey Crossbow: Causes hit mobs to be “honey slowed”, which drastically decreases their movement speed. The arrows themselves do very little damage.
- Quartz Crossbow: Does high damage in the Nether, but very little in the overworld/end.
- Shulker Crossbow: Causes hit mobs to get levitation.
- Ice Crossbow: Freezes the target for 2.5 seconds.
- Emerald Crossbow: Deals massive damage to raiders.
- Wither Crossbow: Deals a bit of extra wither damage.
- Glowstone Crossbow: Causes the target to glow for 10 seconds.
- Prismarine Crossbow: Deals massive true damage to mobs in water, but none to mobs out of water.
- Short Crossbow: Does high damage, but arrows become less and less powerful the further they travel.
- Sniper Crossbow: Deals little base damage which increases as the arrows fly further.
- Chorus Crossbow: Causes targets hit to randomly teleport sometimes.
- RainCrossbow: Makes mobs hit by the arrow drop dye essence.
- Firework Crossbow: Causes a random firework explosion where it lands, which deals splash damage. The arrows themselves deal very little damage.
- Lightning Crossbow: Causes lightning to strike where the arrow hits. Lightning stuns enemies for a short time. Arrows themself don’t deal any damage.
- Critical Crossbow: Deals regular damage, but has a chance to do a massive critical hit.
- Random Crossbow: Gives random positive or negative potion effects.
- Armor Piercing Crossbow: Deals some extra damage to armored targets. The extra damage ignores armor.
- No Gravity Crossbow: Arrows travel with no arc. They will disappear after 30 seconds if they haven’t hit the ground.
