In Essence RPG, players experiment to find fun and powerful ways to enhance their Minecraft playthrough by collecting custom experience types and spending them on upgrades to themselves and their equipment. Experimentation is encouraged and goes very rewarded, opening up an innumerable amount of playstyles in combat while also aiding the players in building and resource collection. However, all of this growth isn't for nothing! Steel yourself and your friends to tackle higher Personal Difficulty levels for better rewards, or even activate Roguelite mode in a new world for one of the most challenging ways to play Minecraft ever!
Current Feature List:
- Custom Experience Drops - Essence Points, or "EP" are rewarded naturally for playing the game in a variety of different ways - go fighting, fishing, mining, etc. to start making progress!
- Imbuement - Spend EP on nine different upgrade types which permanently buff your character! Experiment with different sets of Imbuements for different playstyles!
- Melee, Magic, or Ranged? Why not all of them? - Essence RPG touts three major damage classifications to build your character around. You can focus on one, two, or all three and make viable playstyles for each!
- Augmentation - Spend EP on any piece of vanilla equipment or on Heirloom items to buff them in different ways! With hundreds of thousands of different Augment possibilities, you can make just about any piece of gear worth using even in the toughest fights! Different Augmentations can either simply modify the stats of an item, give them contextual custom abilities, or completely change how they're used! So thorough, you can even Augment fishing rods!
- Empowerments - Use EP to purchase and utilize several different custom abilities!
- Fully Multiplayer Compatible! - Start or join a server running Essence RPG to play with any number of your friends and discover the most powerful character builds, together!
- Personal Difficulty - Every player can personally select how tough they want their foes to be, and scale their rewards to match!
- Mob Abilities/Variants - Above "Vanilla" difficulty, enemies are granted new abilities to make combat encounters more exciting!
- Two Custom Boss Encounters - After having defeated either the Ender Dragon or the Wither, you may challenge one of two new bosses, who each threaten the stability of the Coalescence...
- Relic Items - Rare items from an older time, Relics are prestigious finds that have effects found nowhere else in Essence RPG!
- Roguelite Mode - Alongside all of Essence RPG's additions, you can also challenge yourself to a race against the clock! Players are given a limited amount of time with shorter days and longer nights of progressively toughening difficulty to defeat one or both of the custom bosses. Are you up for the challenge?
