Better Mass Outbreaks
Adds additional mass outbreaks for Cobblemon, as well as access to unassessable items. Requires Cobblemon and Cobblemon Mass Outbreaks.
Overview
Me and a friend were creating a custom Modpack for our server using Cobblemon and Mass Outbreaks. I was initially confused as to why we were seeing the same mass outbreaks over and over again. As it turns out, the base Mass Outbreak mod only includes 19 different outbreaks.
‎
Fortunately, the mod is able to have datapacks define which outbreaks occur and how they occur. This datapack adds 260 different mass outbreaks for almost every Basic Pokemon in Cobblemon v1.4. There is also biome information in case you run biome_specific_spawns=true. The spawns are based on the Pokémon's natural spawning locations.
In addition, there are 52 "disabled" outbreaks included. This can be re-enabled just by removing the .disabled at the end of each file in the datapack. These are inculded for future updates, or in case you are running a datapack that gives them models.
Also, the shiny rates for the outbreaks are set to 158.2, akin to those found in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
‎
Finally, if you complete an Outbreak, the portal will spawn the following items:
- 1 × Exp. Candy XS
- 1 × Exp. Candy S
- 1 × Exp. Candy M
- 1 × Rare Candy
- 1 × Cherish Ball
Normally, these items cannot be acquired in the base mod, and these give you the ability to level up some of the weaker 'mons that are not normally in your party~! (And also I just like the Cherish Ball...)
‎
There is also compacting/unpacking recipes for all the Exp. Candies.

Note: This doesn't include evolved Pokemon (unless their pre-evolution is a Baby Pokémon), and is designed for low outbreak encounters.
