ALL Recycling Recipes
Yet another wood-cutting/recycling datapack. I wasn't fully satisfied with some of the other ones I tried, so I took upon myself to write my own recipe generator, and make it available in the sources. With it, balance changes and recipes for new materials can be made in bulk.
You are free to use that generator to create and publish your own datapack.
Datapack Overview
This prioritizes convenience over the vanilla balance. Almost all items can be recycled losslessly. Only barks are not recycled lossesly; they remain crafted 4:3, but are recycled 1:1.
Almost everything that comes out of the stonecutter can be uncrafted back to its source material, by placing 4 of them in a crafting grid, (and sometimes directly in the stonecutter). Slabs can also be uncrafted by placing 2 horizontally, like for most other recycling packs.
Stonecutter can also be used for :
- Wood-cutting, glass-cutting and metal-cutting (iron, gold, and copper)
- stripping logs
- scrapping copper (both wax and oxidation)
- cleaning mossy stones
- cobbling smelted stones.
The furnace can be used for :
- Clearing glass (both tinted and stained)
The vanilla recipes for nether bricks fences and iron bars were nerfed a little, in order to allow losseless 1:1 recycling with no duplication. However, using the stonecutter for those is still a gain over vanilla.
